Why is imaginative play is very important for preschoolers ?
This may be one of the foremost imaginative times in childrens lives. Drama, songs, dance as well as video or graphic art:

foster creativeness and imagination in preschoolers
support preschoolers express emotions and develop motor skills
give preschoolers a chance to try out their problem-solving and reasoning skills
